About the Mind...

YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND

YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND

The subconscious part of your mind is much greater than your conscious mind. It is 93 to 97% of your mind. You can compare your conscious mind to the tip of an iceberg.

Your subconscious is a permanent intellect which contains memories of everything: birth, dying, involuntary functions, instinctive functions, automation. It also includes your feelings and thinking patterns.

Your subconscious mind is an invisible, ethereal energy field. It belongs to your physical body, but it vibrates much faster than your physical body. It has no counterpart in the physical body, but its function is never separate from the body while the body is alive.

It functions like the hardware of a computer, as programmed by the conscious mind. Your conscious mind sifts, sorts, labels, categorizes and forms opinions regarding the information gathered from outside stimuli. This information is sent to your subconscious mind for storage.

Instantaneously, your subconscious mind prints out material from the past that is similar to the present activity, and surfaces it for use by your conscious mind in making judgments about the present activity.

If the information coming in is completely foreign, there will be no compartment for it to be stored in and your computer will not accept it until the information has some similarity to an already established compartment. It will branch off new compartments gradually with new information.

Your subconscious mind does not make decisions. It accepts ideas and opinions exactly as stated by the brain, while you are in a normal, waking state of consciousness.

When you are in an altered state of consciousness, your subconscious mind can accept and store emotions and words from other people, and conditions from the environment as they are presented.

When the subconscious mind can function normally without the conscious mind in control, you have reached a deep level of consciousness.

Under normal circumstances, principles or ideas are acquired by your subconscious mind without the ability to logically think them out, or without making a rational decision about the experience before storing the data.

These principles or ideas come from the birth experience and from childhood misunderstandings. You also have subconscious reactions to memories of your past lives constantly in your daily activities which can override the logic of your conscious mind.
